As Joyful Readers tutors work closely with children, we are required to conduct a thorough criminal background check before your service can begin, which includes an FBI fingerprint search. Individuals who have been convicted of murder or who are registered on a sex offender registry are not eligible for a Joyful Readers tutor position.
